IFAT 2026, Munich

After a two-year wait, IFAT, the leading trade fair for environmental technologies, returns to Munich.

It will be held from May 4th to 7th and will bring together more than 3,000 exhibitors from 60 countries, who will discuss the latest developments in sustainable resource management and climate protection.

The 2026 edition will focus specifically on innovations in the digitalization of municipal and industrial processes, with a dedicated area for startups and cross-sector sessions aimed at developing strategies for a circular economy.

Palmieri Group will be present again this year at booth B6-352, with its PASS™ machine, which was so successful at the previous edition, to share solutions for the pretreatment of waste and industrial waste.

PASS SMALL: A glimpse into the future of waste pretreatment

At IFAT in Munich, Palmieri Group will present PASS Small, the latest addition to the PASS™ range.

The PASS Small is the smallest of the three machines, as its name suggests, capable of handling throughputs of 7 to 10 tons per hour.

This solution was designed to optimize space utilization while maintaining operational efficiency. Its most common applications include depackaging and waste pretreatment, allowing it to be adapted to the plant’s needs.

Due to its compactness, advanced automation system, and ability to process heterogeneous materials in small spaces, the PASS Small has aroused considerable curiosity and even impressed industry giants.

The challenge now will be to achieve further success a year after its launch, at one of the most important trade fairs for environmental technologies.
